Project phases

Southbound lane – 13 weeks

Phase 1: 7 – 12 March

Replace approximately 150m of existing gas pipe from opposite the junction of Elmcroft Crescent to the junction of Holmdene Avenue. Two-way traffic lights will be in place along with road closures to side roads.

Phase 2: 14 – 19 March

Replace approximately 170m of existing gas pipe from the junction of Holmdene Avenue to the junction of Manor Park Drive. Two-way traffic lights will be in place along with road closures to side roads.

Phase 3: 21 March – 2 April

Replace approximately 140m of existing gas pipe from the junction of Parkfield Gardens to the junction of Almond Way. Two-way traffic lights will be in place along with road closures to side roads.

Phase 4: 4 - 23 April

Replace approximately 290m of existing gas pipe from the junction of Pinner Road to the junction of Elmcroft Crescent. The northbound carriageway will be closed during this time.

Phase 5: 25 - 30 April

Replace approximately 140m of existing gas pipe from the junction of Almond Way to 161 Headstone Lane. Two-way traffic lights will be in place along with road closures to side roads.

Phase 7: 2 - 14 May

Replace approximately 290m of existing gas pipe from 161 to 185 Headstone Lane. Two-way traffic lights will be in place along with road closures to side roads.

Phase 8: 16 - 21 May

Replace approximately 110m of existing gas pipe from 185 Headstone Lane to the junction of Fernleigh Court. Three-way traffic lights will be in place along with road closures to side roads.

Phase 9: 25 May – 4 June

Replace approximately 120m of existing gas pipe from the junction of Fernleigh Court to the railway bridge. Two-way traffic lights will be in place along with road closures to side roads.

 

Northbound lane – 18 weeks

Phase 10: 6 - 18 June

Replace approximately 150m of existing gas pipe from the junction of Fernleigh Court to 230 Headstone Lane. Two-way traffic lights will be in place along with road closures to side roads.

Phase 11: 20 June – 2 July

Replace approximately 130m of existing gas pipe from 230 to 196 Headstone Lane. Two-way traffic lights will be in place along with road closures to side roads.

Phase 12: 4 -16 July

Replace approximately 150m of existing gas pipe from 196 to 166 Headstone Lane. Two-way traffic lights will be in place along with road closures to side roads.

Phase 13: 18 - 23 July

Replace approximately 140m of existing gas pipe from 166 Headstone Lane to the junction of Parkfield Gardens. Two-way traffic lights will be in place along with road closures to side roads.

Phase 14a: 25 July – 3 August

Replace approximately 180m of existing gas pipe southbound on Headstone Lane from the junction of Manor Park Drive to the junction of Parkfield Gardens. Two-way traffic lights will be in place along with road closures to side roads.

Phase 14b: 4 – 13 August

Replace approximately 170m of existing gas pipe Northbound on Headstone Lane from the junction of Parkfield Gardens to the junction of Manor Park Drive. Two-way traffic lights will be in place along with road closures to side roads.

Phase 15: 15 August – 3 September

Replace approximately 130m of existing gas pipe from the junction of Manor Way to Pinner Road. Four-way traffic lights will be in place.

Phase 16: 5 – 10 September

Replace approximately 150m of existing gas pipe from the junction of Manor Park Drive to 100 Headstone Lane. Two-way traffic lights will be in place along with road closures to side roads.

Phase 17: 12 – 24 September

Replace approximately 170m of existing gas pipe from 100 Headstone Lane to junction of Elmcroft Crescent. Two-way traffic lights will be in place along with road closures to side roads.

Phase 18: 26 September – 1 October

Replace approximately 130m of existing gas pipe from the junction of Elmcroft Crescent to junction of Hillview Gardens. Two-way traffic lights will be in place along with road closures to side roads.

Phase 19: 3 – 8 October

Replace approximately 125m of existing gas pipe from the junction of Hillview Gardens to the junction of Manor Way. Two-way traffic lights will be in place along with road closures to side roads.
